Trujet lists down your Flight Do's & Dont's

  •  We love to be your Nanny on-Board!

Flight attendants are trained to help with medical emergencies, even learning how to properly handle a childbirth before becoming certified. Flight attendants are completely trained. If you’re not feeling well definitely speak up.

When with us we are all ears to the slightest discomfort you may have.

  • Sunscreens are big help!

One small study found that pilots flying for an hour got the same amount of radiation as if they had spent 20 minutes in a tanning bed. You’ll also want to moisturize to prevent parched and itchy skin—an airplane’s pressurized air is notoriously dry.

  • Walking barefoot on the carpet! NOOOO pls.

There has been everything from vomit to blood to spilled food hit that carpet.A colony of germs “Never walk barefoot into the bathroom or the galley area because sometimes we drop glasses and there could be sharp glass there, too." says our Ladies in Red.

  • Move around a little!

Nah not THAT MUCH movement though!
On an airplane, you are at a higher risk to develop deep vein thrombosis (DVT) which is a type of blood clot that usually forms in your legs. DVT has been coined as “economy-class syndrome” and walking around for a few minutes or standing up to stretch are good bets to help prevent it.  Also, try to avoid tight clothing that could cut off circulation while in flight.

Move your legs at least once every hour.If you can’t get up, you can do exercises in your seat by lifting alternate knees up to your chest and twisting in your chair from side to side.

  • Contact lenses might be  itchy..

If you can, opt to wear glasses in flight. The air in the cabin is very dry and can cause irritation to your eyes.

  • Beverages might dehydrate you!

Caffeinated beverages aren’t your best bet while flying. Caffeine slightly dehydrates you. It’s not a huge problem to drink caffeine but include water also.

  • Wide awake till take-off!

If you do, it will be harder for you to equalize the pressure in your ears (which you’ll do more quickly if you chew gum or yawn). If you’re prone to flight-induced headaches, hold off on your snooze until your ears pop.

  • Let the air flow from the Vent above

If the air blowing makes you chilly, it might be smarter to throw on a sweatshirt rather than turn off the vent. Doctors recommend that the adjustable air over your seat should be set to medium or high in flight so that any airborne germs can be blown away before they enter your personal zone.

  • Avoid eating any tidbits falling on the Tray!

Hygiene is of utmost interest to us! Anytime.

No Matter how many times cleaning sprees are conducted for flight interiors, we still recommend care.

  • Hydrate,Hydrate,Hydrate!Keep Water handy !

Airplane cabins are known for their low humidity because the manufactured air in the cabin is made to mimic the highest altitude humans can breathe at, usually between 6,000 and 8,000 feet, according to the World Health Organization.
