Hello! is this trujet! May I carry a mango in my Check IN luggage?

Well if the mangoes are too juicy and kept midst your favourite Blazer and kurti ...um..I guess you better not!!

Check Luggage is a subject always alien to most of us , figuring out what we may and can carry feasibly. On an obvious note, we cannot carry any of these in our ANY luggage at any rate-
- Weapons
-Any material prohibited by law
- Any item that may endanger the aircraft or a person


But the question arise as in WHY MAY I NOT CARRY A DAMN MANGO!!!


Here is the answer-

Packing the wrong thing in your checked bag has the potential to ruin your trip—especially if that bag gets lost, broken, or roughed up by baggage handlers. A simple rule of thumb: Pack anything of value or importance in your carry-on bag, in case your luggage gets lost by the airline. But there's more to keep in mind. 






Let me list out 10 items to be Unchecked for Check IN -



1. Jewelry and valuables

Although, there is a 0.12 percent chance that your baggage or anything inside it may get missing, but who knows, you may be amongst that 0.12 percent.

2.Essential documents like ID cards, passport etc

Keep copies or keep them in your carry on. These drive bonkers if missed or damaged!

3.Cash/card

Best kept to yourself! you never know if the zipper gives up or anything may happen. There are chances of thorough search at times and its better not to keep these in check in luggage

4. Laptop/electronics

Now, no matter how many beach towels you wrap onto your lappy, bumpy transits or rough handling may just screw it off.


5.Flammable items

Paint, liquid fuel, matches, lighter (with fuel), vehicle airbags (may packed for laptop safety!) etc. are not allowed. 


6. Your entire closet!

LOL! trust me this may come handy. Keep a set of attire in your carry bag. you never know!

7.Medications

 There is a theme here. If you cant live comfy without it, dont pack it in your checked bag. That old cliche "better safe than sorry", should be lingering in the back of your mind when you are organizing your luggage. Accordingly, prescription drugs are best kept on your person.

8.Breakable items

Baggage handlers have hundreds of luggage to be handled and maintain your travel on-time. Let us make their life easier by keeping our check in luggage without fragile items.
Imagine your favourite wine glass gifted by your beau, smashed into pieces...NAH!!


9.Films

If in case you have ducked in your digital trend or travel films of a camera that uses film, the X-Ray scanner can damage it all and vanish the memories.

10. Food & Drink 

Finally we come to the question asked in the beginning...MANGOES!!
Trust me, if your food and beverages are not properly packed and totally sealed like a PRO...do not carry them in luggage! Save the poor co-items of your bag from being stained and damaged, please!
